About me

I am a 22-year old photography student from the Netherlands, currently studying at the American University of Florence in Italy. In my work I try to explore the nuanced layers of human connection, with a focus on intimacy, identity and emotionality. I try to document unsaid moments that reveal the complexities of relationships and the quiet tensions that underlie our actions. 

I work with digital as well as analog photography, however the analog process is what I enjoy the most. I picked up my first medium format camera 3 years ago and since have fallen in love with the medium. 

My next step will be to finish my studies at DMJX in Aarhus, Denmark. Here I will study photojournalism for one semester.
